I am honored to announce that Sundog Lit nominated my poem "To Shed" for the 2013 Best of the Net anthology. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I have also been accepted as a juried poet for the 2013 Houston Poetry Fest! The event is October 11, 12, and 13th in downtown Houston. I am scheduled to appear during the Saturday evening reading, and one of my pieces will appear in their anthology. I could not be more excited! I will report back about my experience here.
