My Pandora's Box reading was excellent! The Margo Jones Theater is one of my favorite venues for poetry in DFW. I did a 30-minute set of poems from my in-progress series (see Next Big Thing post below). The crowd was warm and wonderful. Many thanks to the hosts, Christopher Soden, Paul Koniecki, and Dan Collins, for having me and working so hard to put together this stellar reading series. The Dallas Poets Community has its readings on the first Friday of the month. I was meant to be the feature poet back in February, but the reading was canceled due to inclement weather. The DPC typically doesn't have a July feature because of Independence Day, but they graciously had their first ever Thursday reading so that I could be rescheduled. I'm pleased to report that lots of folks came to the show and a great time was had by all! Here is a video of the opening of my 20-minute set. Hope y'all enjoy!
